Pinal County Sheriff’s Deputies, Arizona State and Federal Investigators are just now on the scene of an apparent double homicide near milepost 150 on Interstate 8, which is the same area that the U.S. Border Fire Report,  ( www.usborderfirereport.com ) reported recently showing the same area as the Arizona Concerned Citizens set up watch posts to help detect illegal smugglers just east of Gila Bend Arizona. offered and alert authorities and the public to the dangerous area between Gila Bend and Casa Grande Arizona their efforts were to help observe and report the daily invasion across our southern border with Mexico.

The group pointed out that there are 30 miles of area in a straight line that they covered the last time around. They’ll go back and do what they do best….. “DETERRENCE BY PRESENCE”

Their program operated for about 2 weeks.
The locations of deployment were the very area where these two killings took place. They established multiple base camps at major choke points.

Concerned Citizens group had just lift the area a few days earlier they say in view of this latest shootings they are ready to deploy again, to video tape and educate Americans about the real threat to National Security and our public safety.

The group is in support of Jan Brewer signing SB1070 and say they want to help educate the public. They say “It’s time to bring back the” Minuteman Type Lines”

This is the same general area where Deputy Louis Puroll was shot, allegedly by drug smugglers, more than a month ago. There was a delay for authorities to respond to the scene of the shooting. It is not clear why the delay, but when the sheriff spokesperson was asked Lt. Villar stated that the communications center lost contact when cell service apparently dropped out. Crews were sent out to try and locate the caller. Those searchers found the bodies of two men who had been shot to death. Detectives had to wait for daylight before they could begin their investigation.

Crime scene techs were just arriving on the scene at 9:30 a.m. This morning so details are quite limited.

Villar said that area is a “primary corridor for human and drug smuggling” and that unfortunately the deadly shooting is “not something that’s completely unexpected given the volatility of the area right now.”

According to Lt. Tamatha Villar of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in late Sunday night. Villar said the man who called said he and a friend had been shot out in the desert.

Marketers usually send only one type of message to a strictly targeted list of recipients. But in reality, the email is seen by ten different types of audiences who read the message in ten different ways. Hence, it is important to create a message design which satisfies the needs of majority type of audience as possible, instead of creating a different message for each type of audience.

Things get even more complicated when audience keep shifting. It can happen that the same recipient reads the message with a different perspective from edition to edition, depending on the time or mood constraints. This problem can be solved by understanding the major email audience. Then the design tactics can be designed and the potential of the email being read by everyone can be maximized. There are eight types of audiences: Identifiers, skimmers, readers, HTML readers, text reader, mobile, desk, and searchers.

Identifiers have only one goal. They check from address and subject line to make decision amongst the other emails which have overcrowded their inboxes. They make recognition and delete the rest of the emails which they do not want to read. For such audience great subject lines and clear branding make the greatest impact. Snippet or the top line of the emails is also displayed in the preview pane, so this text is of all importance as it can help to make the difference between reading and deletion. Usually the business people fall into this category who want to clear the inbox after they arrive to the office before the first meeting or when they are waiting for their flight.

Skimmers go beyond from address and subject line by actually opening the email. But they read the email as fast as possible, noticing only headlines, subheadings and calls to action. Then they make the decision whether to delete the email or read it in detail. When the email is being designed, these copy points should be worked upon in order to deliver the central idea and guide the skimmer towards the click through. Skimmers do not even enable images, if they have been blocked. Thus, strong text content should be designed to deliver the content without much focus on the images.

Readers are a little ahead of skimmers. They read from address, subject line and open the email and read few sentences between the headline and call of action so as to learn more about the email topic. This helps them with the click through hurdle. These audience also turn on the images or click on the web version link.

Every email should have both HTML and text version of the message. Since most of the readers now-a-days are using their portable devises for checking emails, here text version will be of more use than the HTML version with images. HTML design dose takes more time, but few more minutes must be devoted to make the text version attractive. Include URLs with text as short and as clear as possible. Easily readable text messages increases the number of clicks by a great percentage.

Email design is encountering new challenge because of the growth of mobile readers. Some PDAs show HTML version correctly, while the others show lines and lines of irritating HTML code. Again, matching the right format with the right reader is important here, but hundred percent is impractical. If an interesting message isn’t being displayed properly, mobile readers will save the message to later read it on their laptop or desktop.

Desk readers are the biggest audience for which majority of marketers design emails. This audience is also the one most likely to act on the email. Design strategy used to optimize emails for other audiences will also prove effective for this particular group too. Desk readers can also be skimmers or readers. Therefore, here too, it is important to concentrate on the top line of the email, apart from the subject line.

Searcher audiences start as members of one of the other type of audience. When they see something which they like but cannot deal with it at that time they save it for later. When they have time they want to find the message in a flash. So if the message does not stand out, it will be forgotten about. Again here it is important to design the subject line, top line of email and sender address properly.

Diamonds are a girls best friend. Now how many times have I heard that. Diamonds are usually sold and given as a toKen of love and affection. Depending on the size of the diamond, it may also be an indication of how wealthy you are.

There is, however, a dark corner to this stone. A dark corner that leads to a life of greed, corruption and brutality. Illegal diamond dealers see war as an opportunity where profits can be made. Blood diamonds or conflict diamonds as they are also called, are purchased from places in the world of conflict laced with rape and mutilation. One such place was Sierra Leone.

In the year 2000, civil war engulfed the South African country. From 1992 the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) had terrorised locals to seize power and control of the diamond mines. Rebels who were guilty of committing unspeakable atrocities, including the disembowelling of pregnant women, traded the diamonds for weapons. Despite United Nation sanctions and the fact that illegal diamond trade supported these rebels who tortured raped and murdered, the trade in blood diamonds flourished.

Illegal diamond dealers took the opportunity to make a fortune from the situation and some smuggled the rough diamonds into Westen Europe. It was understood that anyone at all connected were dealing these diamonds illegally because all of the proceeds from the mines went to the rebels. This was a dangerous business. We are talking about diamond trade in African countries where there was no law except those pronounced by the military regimes.

The Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) was founded by members of the Armed Forces of Sierra Leone who seized power from the elected government of Sierra Leone via a coup d’état on May 25, 1997. Johnny Paul Koroma (a.k.a. JPK), was the leader of the AFRC. The AFRC membership comprised mainly of soldiers of the Sierra Leone Army.

The Revolutionary United Front (RUF) was founded in Libya in 1988-1989 and led by Foday Sankoh. It began organised armed operations in Sierra Leone in or about March 1991. Not long after the AFRC seized power, the RUF joined with the AFRC.

Liberia is just across the border from Sierra Leone. As it was too dangerous to deal directly with the source of the diamonds in Sierra Leone, dealers would go through other sources therefore buying the diamonds without knowing of their origin. One such channel was through the corrupt regime of Liberian President Charles Taylor who is now on trial for war crimes.

With the United Nation sanctions in place, diamond smugglers risked arrest and heavy fines if caught. Diamonds were therefore shipped under false documents. Couriers arrived with cash and left with diamonds in their body cavities. To cover their tracks and the origin of their illicit cargo, the smugglers travelled a twisted route across Africa. These rough diamonds could land dealers profits as high as five times their outlay. One destination for these gems was none other than the worlds oldest diamond market, the Belgium city of Antwerp.

If that sort of profit was not enough, the boldest of the dealers would attempt to go to the source of the diamonds. One way to reach the source was to go through the most powerful man in Liberia at the time, the feared Liberian Security Commander General Benjamin Yeaten, accused of murder and a wanted man in Africa. It was through this man that the dealer could reach the source of the diamonds. The person who controlled the diamond mines in Sierra Leone, Issa Sesay.

Issa Hassan Sesay was senior officer and commander in the RUF,Junta and AFRC/RUF forces. He answered only to Foday Sankoh and Johnny Paul Koroma and was one of the key perpetrators in a civil war which claimed 120,000 lives and left tens of thousands of people mutilated. His reign of terror from 1992 to 2003 was sustained by the illegal trade in blood diamonds.

This man recruited child soldiers and was overseer to a savage spree of rape and murder. The RUF terrorized locals, torturing, raping and mutilating men, women and children to seize power and control of the diamond mines in Sierra Leone. The diamonds were then traded for weapons. In 2009, Issa Sesay was tried as a war criminal, convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to 52 years in prison.

The only problem for the smugglers dealing with these type of characters was that the chances of never making it out of the country alive were excellent. They took the ultimate risk and yet the rough diamonds that come out of the ground look nothing like the cut and polished gems we see. To see a flawless jewel through the deceptivley drab exterior of a rough diamond takes a rare skill and greed is a very powerful emotion. Unfortunately, the price humanity was forced to pay for such beauty is not recoverable.

Last month Molana Fazal-ur-Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ullema Islam, invited all the political parties of its previous alliance MMA (Mutahida Majlis-e-Amal). All these parties agreed to struggle against USA. In the past, with exemption of few years of Jamiat Ullema Islam in 70′s, all the political parties comprising MMA, were friends of “self-righteous” America and the “spiritual” West. While secular USSR was their common enemy.

There is a misconception in the world that Pakistani ISI has still contacts with religious extremists of Jihadi era, while American CIA has a clean slate in this regard and having no black spots at its face. The same is the case with all these religious political parties.  Their leaders suppose that having a friendship with USA in past to counter USSR, was a compulsion and now they have no links with America. They think that their parties are purely anti-American and now their parties do not have any hidden pro American segments. How is this possible? They are living in the land of dreams because Anti-Americanism has some requirements that are never observed in their policies.

Today the menace of extremism is the result of their long friendship with Americans for 3 decades. Pro-Americanism is now the part of their blood. Americans have intruded in their very ranks of leadership. If these political parties really wants to struggle against American hegemony than its leadership will have to alienate pro American segments from their parties. These pro American segments are capitalistic in their nature and approach and at any time, again they will serve American interests. As a result the lower sincere segments will have to face the difficulties.

The policies of these religious parties and the solution to the problems of Pakistani nation are at opposite angles with each other. The nation wants to get rid of sectarianism while these religious parties are promoting religious sectarianism. These political parties are basically based on sectarian thinking. For example Devbandi, Barelvi, Ahl-e-Hadis, Shia and Jamat-e-Islami. First, these religious parties will have to make improvements in their own mentality. The nation is against fundamentalism while these political parties feel proud to be called as fundamentalists.

The nation is trying hard to get closer to the regional countries like India but these parties, using the name of religion, have no intensions to come closer to these countries. Even some parties have taken extreme steps to sabotage the peace process in the past.

So how these political parties will face America as they have no public support. If these parties are not interested in accepting the majority viewpoint then one must be justified to say that their real intension is not to oppose America but rather they want to provide raw material to American war on terror. Because by arousing the hatred of young men principally they are guiding them to become extremists. These extremists in next stage serve the interests of Al-Qaida and ultimately America.

If really these religious political parties want to struggle against US, then they will have to take some steps. First of all they will have to discontinue their support of capitalism. Secondly they will have to put ban on sectarian education in their religious schools. Third they will have to open their doors of parties for all segments of the society. They will have to say good bye to conservative approach and to welcome liberal ideas. Like Jamiat Ullema Hind of India, Pakistani political parties will have to come forward to declare a “Fatwa” against terrorism and suicide attacks. So that sincere religious people may not become victims of Talibanization. In this regard the role of religious parties is not positive and it encourages terrorists. Lastly the only solution to come out of American slavery is to put our eggs in the regional basket.

If religious parties of Pakistan are ready to follow these steps so the public will trust in them. Otherwise the people of Pakistan are right to guess that the real target of Pakistani religious parties is not America but rather our own institutions.
